Hawkshead Tiny RebelFresh off the back of Tiny Rebel’s champion beer of Britain win, Hawkshead Brewery was happy to host its brewer, Gareth Williams, to create a collaboration beer — and the resulting brew doesn’t disappoint.

Hawkshead Tiny Rebel White IPAWhite IPA sees a spiced wheat beer meet an IPA. It’s brewed with 40% wheat, low-colour Maris Otter, oats, coriander and Seville orange peel, and dry hopped with a mixture of New Zealand and USA hops.

Matt said: “We used a new hop from America called Jarrylo for bittering the beer, which has laid base flavours of banana, pear, orange and spice. The mash-up of the two styles means you get to enjoy the best of both beer styles.”

At 6% ABV, White IPA is well balanced, bringing huge tropical fruits to the nose, low bitterness from the hops and a light spicing from the coriander. It finishes with a big mouthfeel from the wheat and oats.
