Arbor Ales

Café Crème (6.9% ABV, can)
Black as night with a dark tan head, this does exactly what you would expect a coffee and chocolate stout to do. The first thing that hits you on the aroma is lovely, quite mellow coffee, then the chocolate comes through. On the palate, it’s beautifully smooth, the balance between the two beans spot on. Fantastic body, lovely flavours.
Buy: I bought mine in M&S. It’s available on the brewery website.

Why Kick a Moo Cow (5.5% ABV, can)
This has one of the nicest tropical fruit flavours of this type of modern pale ale that I’ve tasted. It’s a very hazy light amber with a thick, foaming white head that explodes out of the can. The aroma offers a hint of dank hops, but mostly a juicy fruitness. The taste is lovely. There’s mango, lychee, lemon, and kiwi in the fruit bowl, but the biscuit malt offers great balance and stops it veering off in the direction of pure juice bomb. Excellent conditioning, a good mouthfeel, and nice dryness on the end — really enjoyed this one!
Buy: I bought mine in M&S. It’s available via various online sellers.
