Anarchy Brew Co has teamed up with local music festival, Hit The North, to launch the official beer for the Newcastle upon Tyne event.

The brewers have worked with the Hit The North team to create the beer, which is available now from Riverside (Newcastle), and will be on sale at venues across #HTN19 in May.

Hit The North is the North East’s largest inner-city new music festival, taking place on Sunday, May 5, and featuring more than 120 artists from across the world. The festival is located across multiple venues in Newcastle city centre during the May bank holiday weekend, with artists such as Jake Bugg and Tom Grennan topping the bill, and several of the events for the Friday night already sold out.

Stu Rodgers, sales co-ordinator at Anarchy Brew Co, said: “It’s been great to team up with the guys from Hit The North to work on this project. We’re proud to be able to give the festival-goers of the North East a local beer to enjoy for the May Bank Holiday weekend, and we can’t wait to see how it’s received during the events.”

Hit The North Session IPA is loaded with grapefruit, lemon and lime — hoppy, but light-bodied enough to keep you coming back for more. Vegan-friendly, it has an ABV of 4.1%.
