Gary Watts, at the Sonder craft beer bar and restaurant, in Truro, has released the men for a Beer Meets Food event on Tuesday (November 21), staged in association with Tom Hannon, of the Rising Sun in the city.
There will be: slow-roasted smoked belly pork, served with Meantime Brewing’s Yakima Red; Morroccan spiced chicken burger with spicy tomato chutney, with Pilsner Urquell; wild mushroom arancini with pea pesto, with Woodman’s Wild Mild; and bitter chocolate brownie and salted caramel ice cream, with Wild Beer Co Millionaire.
Gary explained that the menu took a while “because I kept changing the beer and Tom had to rewrite the menu”. He added that there would be an extra “surprise” course, matched with Woodman’s Pinaval.
