One lucky Badger Ales drinker is enjoying the ultimate barbecue shed, built especially for him, at his Carshalton Beeches home.

John Bowling was one of thousands of Badger drinkers who entered their idea for a dream shed into a competition earlier this year. Previously unmotivated by his barbecue set-up, John now has this incredible dream shed, valued at £40,000.

This one-of-a-kind shed looks like any other from the outside, but transforms into The Shed Arms, a barbecue fanatic’s dream, complete with its very own pub sign.

As expected, there’s a state-of-the-art barbecue complete with a tool rack, spice drawer, fresh herbs and, most importantly, the chef’s own fully-stocked beer fridge. Round the corner, a concealed food prep area can be found, along with a handy service hatch.

When it’s time to eat there’s a pull-out table with bench seating and, of course, another spot to store cold bottles of Badger ale, in a specially-designed Badger beer keg fridge.

There’s a swivel dartboard and a box of garden games to keep everyone entertained. And when the British weather threatens to ruin the barbecue, The Shed Arms has an automatic awning to keep the gourmet hot dogs and guests dry.

John said: “I’ve always loved a good barbecue and have been a long-time fan of Badger beers — the two together are even better. So when it came to my ultimate barbecue shed, it was always going to be about creating the perfect space for having a barbecue with friends and family.”
